Be the Change Videos

In your senior year of high school, once the Financial Literacy and Volunteering requirements are met, you will receive $50 to pay forward in your community. To be award eligible, we ask you to create a short video about how you used the money to make a positive change in your community. Once completed, videos will need to be shared (via a YouTube link) in March. Please contact the Program Coordinator, Brooke Miller, for full submission details.

Video entries will be accepted throughout March.  The video entries will be reviewed by a panel who will select seven $1000 awardees. This panel will look for videos to include: how you used the $50 to Pay It Forward in your community, why your project was meaningful to you, and the impact your project had or you hope that it has on your community in the future.

Check out our sample video, or the playlist of previous winner's videos below for inspiration! Please feel free to contact the Program Coordinator, Brooke Miller, at with any questions!
