Be the Change Videos

In your senior year of high school, once the Financial Literacy and Volunteering requirements are met, you will receive $50 to pay it forward in your community. To be scholarship eligible, we ask you to create a short video about how you used the money to make a positive change in our community. Once completed, you will need to submit your video to the Program Coordinator, Brooke Miller/, and await instructions for posting to the Mechanics Bank Facebook page for voting in March.

The typical video voting period on the Mechanics Bank Facebook page is March 1st - March 31st. Video entries will be accepted throughout March, but please remember later entries will lose voting time! The top ten video entries with the most Facebook “likes” visible on the Mechanics Bank Facebook page will be reviewed by a scholarship panel. From these ten finalists, the scholarship panel will award five $1000 scholarships.
