Semi-annual Contests!

Each school year, high school participants in the Be the Change program may enter our semi-annual social media photo/video contests for the chance to win awards!

High school Freshman – Juniors

• Have the chance to win one of five $250 awards for each semi-annual contest.

High school Seniors

• Have the chance to win one of five $500 awards for each semi-annual contest.

Entry periods are from Aug. 1 – Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 – Mar. 31. Winners announced in December and April.

*CONTEST RULES: Must be a high school student enrolled in the Be The Change program and age 13 and up to win. One entry per person, per semi-annual contest period. Each student may only win once each school year. December winners will be randomly chosen from all eligible submissions August 2024 – November 2024. April winners will be randomly chosen from all eligible submissions December 2024 – March 2025. Winners will be notified via direct message, and must respond within 24 hours to claim their prize or an alternate winner may be chosen. These contests are in no way endorsed or sponsored by Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. By submitting a photo or video, you agree that you have rights to the material and it may be used by Mechanics Bank in, but not limited to, any marketing, advertising, social media and public relations activities. Mechanics Bank employees and their immediate family members are not eligible for awards. Immediate family shall include spouse, child, stepchild, brother, sister, half brother, half sister, stepbrother, stepsister. Program subject to change.
